The Culver's Reading Program  is open to all ages. Simply pick up a designated bookmark at the library and start reading! Each person may read 20 books to complete one bookmark. The books must be age-appropriate titles. Return completed bookmarks to the library to be stamped. Then take your stamped bookmark to Culver's for a FREE meal! Each person is allowed to complete only one bookmark during this program, which runs October 1 through April 30.

We've always relied on Cindy to keep us up to date on the latest and greatest books hitting the shelves. She has decided to pass the torch on to one of our newest librarians, Katelyn.

David finished his goal of reading 1,000 books before kindergarten! He finished just in time, he's excited to attend kindergarten when it starts in the beginning of September.

Lauren, Logan, Nikole, Charlotte, and Annelie all finished their goal of reading 1,000 books before kindergarten! That's 5,000 books! Way to go kids!

Wednesday, July 2 at Warner Park, the Mallards are hosting a Library Appreciation Night. Tickets for the 7:05 p.m. game and all-you-can-eat ballpark food and soda from 5:30 p.m. to game time cost $16 plus $1.50 processing fee. It's March 14th, which means Pi Day! Pi is an irrational constant that defines the ratio between the circumference of a circle to it's diameter. Easy, huh? Learn more about the history of Pi and learn how to calculate Pi for yourself! We love to celebrate math and science here at the library, so we make a point to have fun on Pi Day each year. Stop in and recite as many digits of Pi as you can from memory and we'll give you a treat.

Are you ready for March Madness? This month, we're pitting book against book in a tournament of literary champions. Four distinct brackets: Classic Books, Books for Teens, Kids Books, and Contemporary Books. Vote for your favorite books during the week and each Monday we'll post the results right here. We're starting with the sweet sixteen this week, let the games begin! Stop by the library to fill out a paper ballot and see the bracket or fill out the form below.
