The 2024 Summer Reading Program begins Monday, June 10!
The Summer Reading Program is a free and easy way to stay reading, engaged, and having fun this summer. Join us for special programs and reading incentives for all ages!

SUMMER READING PROGRAM
We have a variety of incentives available to keep children, teens, and adults reading this summer, including tickets to popular summer destinations, games, art kits, puzzles and more! The reading program starts June 10 and ends August 10.
First prizes will be available for pick-up beginning Monday, June 17.
Children’s Reading Program – Ages 0-12
- Earn entries for the time that you spend reading! The more you read, the better your chances of winning.
- Sign-up at the library starting Monday, June 10 to pick up your reading log.
- Complete a reading log (10 hours of reading) and earn a mystery prize bag and an entry into the prize drawings.
- Complete a second reading log to earn an additional prize drawing entry AND a free book!
- After completing two logs, you can continue to fill out new logs and return them to the library to keep track of your reading for the full summer.
- The final prize drawings will be on August 12.
Teen Reading Program – Ages 13-18
- Choose your own adventure this summer by setting your own reading goal. It can be a number of books or minutes read; whatever works best for you!
- Sign-up at the library starting Monday, June 10 to pick up your challenge bookmark and a summer BINGO challenge.
- Completing half of your reading goal will earn you one final prize drawing ticket. Achieving your full reading goal will earn an additional final prize drawing ticket AND a free book.
- Want more final prize drawing tickets? Finish as many BINGOs as you can on your challenge sheet and earn up to 2 more tickets!
- The final prize drawings will be on August 12.
Adult Reading Program – Ages 19+
- Choose your own adventure this summer by setting your own reading goal. It can be a number of books or minutes read; whatever works best for you!
- Sign-up at the library starting Monday, June 10 to pick up your challenge bookmark and a summer BINGO challenge.
- Completing half of your reading goal will earn you one final prize drawing ticket. Achieving your full reading goal will earn an additional final prize drawing ticket AND a free book.
- Want more final prize drawing tickets? Finish as many BINGOs as you can on your challenge sheet and earn up to 2 more tickets!
