Kids and their caregivers are having more fun these days in the Children's Area! Have you brought your young children or grandchildren to check out the library's Play & Learn Spots yet? Each quarter we will change the early literacy activities available for caregivers to play with their child(ren). Most Play & Learn Spots will be marked with our logo and will include a short description of the activity plus a list of the early literacy skills children will be practicing while playing. Some examples of activities are a puppet theater, Duplo table, stories to read with activities to do at the library, explorations in rhyming, letter sorting, mini playboxes (tools, kitchen, ice cream parlor, etc.), puzzles, and scavenger hunts. Come, play, and learn!
