Dear Patrons,
The safety of our patrons and staff is a priority to the Sauk City Library. We are working to stay on top of this evolving COVID-19 situation by following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the WI Department of Health Services.
While supplies last we are making hand sanitizer and tissues available to patrons for in-library use. Staff will regularly use disinfectant on frequently touched areas. We encourage frequent hand-washing, coughing into elbows, and use of tissues. Staff are also required to stay home when they have an infectious illness.
As a public space, the Library cannot guarantee a germ-free environment or germ-free physical materials. Collection materials are not disinfected when they are checked in or as they are used in-house due to limited resources and supplies.
Please remember the Library has many great digital services available to you for free including ebooks, e-audiobooks, downloadable music, and even video streaming. Check out our online resources https://saukcitylibrary.org/books-audio-and-movies/
We encourage any concerned patrons, especially those in high-risk populations, to stay home if they are feeling ill or are simply concerned about potential exposure.
We currently have no plans to close. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any library closures, reduced schedules, or cancelled programs through our website: https://saukcitylibrary.org/ and the library’s Facebook page.
We encourage you to always make sure to get your health information from reliable sources:
