About LINKcat Online Catalog

LINKcat is a shared catalog of 54 libraries in the South Central Library System.

With a George Culver Community library card, you have access to all of the nearly 3 million LINKcat holdings. These materials can be checked out in person with your library card, or ordered through LINKcat to be sent directly to the George Culver Community Library for pickup. LINKcat is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Additional Online Resources

NoveList Plus  — a comprehensive database of fiction and nonfiction titles. Use it to find recommendations,  articles, and lists for your fiction and nonfiction needs. Log in with your George Culver Community Library card number. It can help you find more of the books you love to read!

Don’t Miss Lists  — lists of books, music and film titles released during the previous month. The lists are curated by the South Central Library Federation, so if you find a title you like you can click to put it on hold.

Overdrive — Access Wisconsin’s Digital Library, powered by Overdrive, to check out and download ebooks, audiobooks, music, current issues of periodicals, and videos directly to your tablet, phone or computer.  Fiction and nonfiction are included, and many popular titles are available.

Hoopla — Like Overdrive, Hoopla allows access to a wide variety of digital materials such as ebooks, audiobooks, music, movies, and tv shows. These titles are available for streaming instantaneously and there are no holds.

Kanopy Kanopy is an online streaming service that specializes in classic cinema, Indie films and documentaries. These titles are available instantly, with no holds. You only need an email address and a George Culver Community Library card to access it.
