Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a beautiful tradition honoring loved ones who have passed away. Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m. to celebrate and go on a magical journey into Latin American culture through cuentos, or folk tales, that have been handed down for generations in Mexico and other countries! Marisol, a bilingual cuentista (storyteller), will share stories that she grew up hearing from her abuelitos (grandparents).
There will be music and dancing, traditional food and dress, and families can come at 5:30 p.m. to make paper flowers for our ofrenda (altar) to remember loved ones. Come join the fun and get a peek into this beautiful and important cultural celebration! This program was made possible by grant funds from REFORMA.
