The Summer Library Program is a free and easy way to stay reading, engaged, and having fun this summer. Join us for special programs and reading incentives for all ages!

SUMMER READING PROGRAM
We have a variety of incentives available to keep children, teens, and adults reading this summer, including tickets to popular summer destinations, games, art kits, puzzles and more! The reading program starts June 12 and ends August 19.
Children’s Reading Program – Ages 0-12
- Earn entries for the time that you spend reading! The more you read, the better your chances of winning.
- A winner will be picked every week beginning June 19. Winners select their prize from our incentives.
- Record reading each week to be entered into that week’s drawing.
Teen Reading Program – Ages 13-18
- Earn one entry for every book you read! The more you read, the better your chances of winning.
- Drawings will be held on July 3, July 24 and August 14. Winners chose their prize from our incentives.
- Enter reading before each drawing date for a chance to win.
Adult Reading Program – Ages 18+
- Earn one entry for every book you read! The more you read, the better your chances of winning.
- A winner will be picked every week beginning June 26. Winners choose their prize from our incentives.
- Record reading each week to be entered into that week’s drawing.
To participate, you may use our digital logging service, called “Beanstack,” or pick up paper reading logs at the library.
How to get started with Beanstack:
- Visit saukcitylibrary.beanstack.com or download the Beanstack tracker app on your phone.
- Click on the blue “Register an Individual or Family” button.
- Fill in the information! If you are a parent registering a child, be sure to enter your information under “Adult Information.” Beanstack allows families to be linked together, so that all family members can be accessed with one login.
- Once you are registered, you will be taken to your account page. This is where you will log your reading and track your entries. Good luck! And happy reading!
