Out of consideration and respect for our fellow community members during this global health crisis and time of economic uncertainty, the Sauk City Public Library is temporarily suspending our fundraising campaign for the George Culver Community Library renovation project.
We wish to thank all those businesses, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the building project so far: Craig Culver Family Foundation, David Staff in Memory of James and Dolores Staff, Pines Assisted Living, Paul and Sandra Tomberlin, Tracy Thompson and RE/MAX, Sarah Blum, Papa Murphy’s, Davidson’s Salon/Richard and Beverly Davidson, Friends of the Sauk City Public Library, Tools of Marketing, Ben and Darcy Miller Halloween party guests, Peggy and Roger Heidenreich in memory of Steve Voss, Cheryl Adank Memorials, Marie Engle Memorials, Donald and Carol Mack, Cheryl Lenerz, Sylvia Broderick, Vernon Racek, Mike Wipperfurth, and Jean Unmuth. We also wish to thank McFarlanes’, A1 Movers, and Waterfront Graphics for generously donating their services in preparation for the renovation.
Thanks to the generosity of those listed above, as well as the generosity of the community in the past, we are able to move forward with the project as planned, while potentially resuming fundraising activities in the future. Renovations are set to be completed in June. We look forward to sharing our new space with the community when possible. In the meantime, we will continue to provide as many services as we can to do our part in helping the community come out of this pandemic even stronger than we were before.
