Employment Opportunity: Library Assistant-Evenings and Saturdays
Opening at the Sauk City Library for a friendly part-time Library Assistant who loves working with the public. We are a forward-thinking library with an increasing focus on technology, but still looking to provide top-notch traditional library service. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy helping people, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Checking materials in and out, processing and shelving library materials, assisting library patrons with technology, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a love of reading, knowledge of computers and the internet, and the ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs. Completion of High School or GED required. Previous library or customer service experience preferred.
Hours: Must be available from 4-8 pm two evenings a week and every other Saturday from 8:30 – 2:00 pm. Additional hours occasionally available.
